Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the cricketer collapsed on the field while bowling during a match at the Sports Stadium in the Thaloran area of Gandoh tehsil. He was immediately rushed for medical attention but was declared dead. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, officials said. The deceased has been identified as Sohail, a resident of Bhaderwah.
